[Her smile is turning into a grin, her hands going to the fastenings of her dress]

It's a look.

[Only the sharp catch of his teeth keep him from grinning back. Maintaining the distance between them, he starts on the buttons of his sodden shirt.]

[It doesn't take much more than that before all she's wearing is her jewelry - this outfit didn't come with any underwear at all - and she's leaning against the car, looking at him]

I could stop carrying towels.

[How many of hers do? And still no complaints on his end.

He hooks fingers into the belt loops of his jeans, walking toward her.]

Or we can just put the seats back in the car.

I thought you liked the idea of on the hood.

[She's already opening the door, though]

I like a lot of things.

[He catches her around the waist before she can climb in, pulling her back against him.]

Rain looked like it was settling in for a while.

[She settles her body against him, hands against the skin of his back]

It did. We might be stuck here a while.

[Her warmth makes him shiver, suddenly more aware of the cold everywhere she's not touching.]

[She presses her mouth to his collarbone, moving so his right leg is between hers]

How many ideas do you have?

[Now he grins, head tipped back so she can't see.]

I'll be honest, they're mostly variations on a theme.

[His dates are usually the creative ones.

His hands are distracted from the idea of getting his jeans off by the intrusion of her thigh. He smooths his palm up the inside of her leg.]

[She rocks up against him, and her teeth grip his earlobe for a second before turning it into a kiss]

I'm not very good at music.
